Are you using any date variables in your RRD? Is the message actually showing a single quote and a double quote like you have above?

Typo on the initial post, it's 'Date', do not have any date variables in the RRD.

Could you copy the contents of the RRD (from Notepad) and paste them here? Be sure to X out any server/db names, logins, or passwords.

Well that's about as simple as it gets. We can definitely rule out the RRD, so it must be the report itself. Does the report run in the Crystal Designer? Are there any formulas that include a reference to the date?

Report runs fine within Crystal, but you might be on to something, the first group is by invoice date, so maybe that's causing the issue.

I didn't see any Parameters being passed by the RRD... does the report include any Parameters?

Is there perhaps something date-related in the record- or group-selection formula?

I had asked Matt to follow up with you as well.

What version of Crystal are you using to test? I wonder if there is a syntax issue between Crystal versions (Logicity is based off of the latest). Do you know if you're using any UDF (user defined functions) in the report?

Could it be possible you have a parameter in the report but are not using it? If you are in the solution builder and click specified for the parameters do you see any show up for date? Thanks!

Matt

Appreciate all the help here, double checked everything again, no date parameters, actually no parameters at all, verified that in the Crystal report and the Solution Builder. I'm using Crystal 2008, have a total of 9 files in this rrd that runs the first day of every month, each one of those runs and emails fine, except for this one. Did a Verify Database in the Crystal, there was an update but it did not fix the issue. Within the Solution Builder, we only get this error if doing it via email, all other types (view, print, etc.) work fine. The only other difference I see with this report is that this report is using tables from our ERP system, the other report uses Views.
