We have one user out of several, all using the free version of Logicity, displaying an error when a report view is initiated.
The command line looks like this, which is being called from within MSAccess using shell:

C:\Progra~1\SaberL~1\Logicity\Logici~1.exe reportfilename

The error returned shows a DOS box with the title "c:\program files (x86)\SaberLogic\Logicity\ConsoleSocketListener.exe"

Why would this only be occurring on one pc and not the others?
Is there a setting or parameter that is thinking we need a Pro version when we are clearly just trying to view an existing report?

I think your command line is jazzed up or something along those lines. In that folder there is a ConsoleSocketListener.exe which is used for Logicity automation and is a pro feature.Somehow you are calling that instead of Logicity Desktop.exe

When you call it, instead of using the tildes for the shortened file name, put the whole thing in " " so that you can have the spaces, etc.

Worst case, uninstall and reinstall completely. Somehow you're running ConsoleSocketListener.exe instead of Logicity Desktop.exe

Turns out it was trying to launch the filename separately and ConsoleSocketListener.exe was associated with .rpt. Once we associated the file type to Logicity Desktop.exe the function worked.
